The Austrian pavilion at the Biennale of Venice is 50 years old. Not only is this exhibition building probably the best pavilion in the Giardini, but it represents the last high point in Josef Hoffmann’s work – a piece of architecture of international standing. The exhibiton was curated by Hand Hollein.
