Delightful, charming drawing in different colours, showing a young lady, sympolizing the spring, walking away from an old man, dressed very warm, sympolizing the winter. Carl Fischer Koystrand was a leading Art-Nouveau painter and illustrator in Vienna at the turn of the century. He took part at the exhibition at the ‘Wiener Künstlerhaus’, at that time the largest exhibition house in Austria. He was famous for his lovesome drawings of everyday life. On stiff cardboard, on the reverse side stamp of the Viennese art-dealer Brüder Nedomansky.
