Oswald Roux an Austrian painter and etcher. He studied art at the Academy in Vienna, under William Unger. During his career Roux was known for his landscapes, portraits, and, most praticulary, his fine studies of horses. In the early tweentieth century he also exhibited with and was a member of the influential Austrian Seccesionist movement which included such revolutionary artists as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Alfred Kubin and Oskar Kokoschka. – With the title and editor printed below the image.
