First edition of the most well known collection of poems of the Peruvian poet Chocona Gastañodi (1875-1934) dedicated to King Alfonso XII. of Spain, with an introduction by Miguel de Unamuno. Also the first illustrated book by Joan Gris and the first time he is using his pseudonym. Gris real name was José Victoriano González Pérez. – Straboug an active center of Rhenish Book-Binding since the 15th century is home to the Anne Giordan workshop on the outskirts of the city. Her versatility, ranging from decorative book-binding to gilding and restauration, offers a wide range of techniques, that pay homage to books. For more then 20 years she has humbly applied ancestral know how to her research into contemporara book-binding.
