Very beautiful illustrations by Antoni Ollé Pinell (1879 – 1981), painter, engraver and photographer, demonstrates the possibilities of woodcut on the face and its application of color with the lost plate technique, a procedure in which after a plate is used in a first run in one color, it is engraved again to be used in another color, printed in part on the other color. This painter is the only one who used this technique in his time. – In a very special full gilded leather binding with original color paintings on leather and added to the covers, two on the front (portrait of Columbus and mermaid at the bottom of the sea) and two on the back (bottom of the sea and Christian cross next to some palm trees. Lomera all edged, silk guards and framed in leather.
