First edition. – Jan Fabre (Amsterdam 1958) is one of the most innovative and important figures on the international contemporary art scene. Extensive work on the Hermitage in St. Patersburg, an experience of the ‘dialogue’ between the artist and the art. This art project reveals Fabre’s reaction, in his own artworks, to the art of the Dutch and Flemish masters from the collection of The State Hermitage Museum.
