Avantgarde – Spur – Spur 7.

The rarest and last issue no. 7 of the group Spur, published in October in exile in Italy and sponsered by Paolo Marinotti. Only a small number of this issue was published. In November the group retourned to Munich and all issues of the journal 1 – 6 which were located, were confiscated. The group SPUR was one of the most important German artist association after 1945. With the provocative activities, distribution of pamphlets and manifestos, and the publication of the journal SPUR, the authorities in Bavaria were reacting fiercly. But because of this, the four artists Lothar Fischer (1933-2004), Heimrad Prem (1934-1978), Helmut Sturm (born 1932) and HP Zimmer (1936-1992) were contributing significatly to the artistical atmosphere of departure in Germany of the 1960ties. – Wrappers at some edges a bit rubbed but inside fine.
