First edition, very rare. – Shows an unromantic view on the life of the people in the city of Vilnius, where Vorobeichic was born and ráised. The impresiv photographic documentation of 65 images, many montages, show the people bundled against the cold, buildings in desastrous state etc. Vorobeichic was trained at the Bauhaus in the 1920ties and then at the Ecole de Photo Cine in Paris, before returning to Vilnius and make this book. – Text in German and Hebrew. – Schaubücher vol. 27, the most thought after volume of this series. – Fly-leaves a bit stained.
