Beautifully made up album with original designs mounted on grey cardboard, mainly in the size of 19 : 27 cm. On the oposite page a handwritten explanation of the image, mostly signed Henritte Polwarth and dated. Henritte Polwarth belonged to a famous British nobel family. The plates, numbered from 1 to 20, mainly with British and Scotish images: The Island Wight, Ryde, Edinburgh, Pont of Water of Leith, View towards Cheviot Hills, a few plates on different views of the River Tweed, Eildon Hills, Villa d’Este a Tivoli, Abbey of St. Pons etc. All the plates are of very high artistical quality, very detailled and in pefect state of conservation. Only one plate with a few stains. The edges of the royal binding a bit rubbed.
